Here we go with another release from the Assassins. The "Ultimate Games" series hits number three and again it's got all the best of the releases from the Public Domain. They've all been fixed and made ready to run on CDTV, CD32 and Amigas with CD drives.
With the familiar Assassins menu there are board games, card games, quiz games, shoot-em-ups, educational games and puzzle games. If that isn't enough then try some of the adventure games, arcade games or WorkBench games, then if you like the Boulderdash games you'll find a very extensive collection here too. Also some of the Assassins compilation disks (number 201 to 261) have been included, plus some other disks in DMS archives. Even more archived stuff includes some helpful utilities and tools.
Use the excellent menu system or, alternatively, the AmigaGuide document to access everything on the CD from info to docs to the game itself. The Assassins do make access to their stuff particularly easy.
The downside of this type of collection is that it's just more of the same! If you have Assassins 2 then I reckon you don't really need this. Having said that, none of the games are repeated from previous Assassins disks, and this is a cheap way of obtaining literally hundreds of good quality PD games. If you've got the time to play games, this has got games to play.
