Not having seen Gamers Delight 1, I can't tell you if this is any better or worse than the original. However what is on this disk is quite an interesting compilation for any games lover.

First, there is a selection of archived stuff that is the best of the Aminet, 2 player games, Workbench games, puzzle games, board games, etc.
Second, there are 70 games of all types ready to run straight off the CD.
Third, there are another 70 commercial versions of the games.
Fourth, there is a nice custom menu system that can be used to start any of the games in the second group.
Fifth, there is the now standard AmigaGuide document to view and decompress the Aminet part of the CD.
Sixth, there is a complete index of all games contained on the CD with search facility.

In total there are 1070 games of all types (no Public Domain and no demos) to keep mind and hands active for quite some time. Also, everything on here has been tested with an A4000, so they should work on most variations of machine with no problem.

There is some interesting stuff here, the games range from Risk to Othello, from Solitaire to Scrabble, from Cricket to Chess, from Mastermind to Yahtzee, from Galaga to Breakout and hundreds of others in loads of categories, there's just too many to mention. If you want to spend your time playing games then you could do a lot worse that purchase this collection.
