In-To-The-Net.
£9.99

In-To-The-NetHey, hey, hey! In-To-The-Net it's called, and about time someone did something like this. It contains everything you need to get on-line (except an internet account), all the utilities configured to run straight from the CD or from a 'boot floppy' for those who may be short of space.

MUI 3.6 is included for any applications that need it. There is MIAMI to get you connected and start the TCP environment. VOYAGER and AWEB are supplied to browse the web, just select which suits you best. AIRMAIL is used to send and collect Email and MNEWS is used for looking at the newsgroups. You can choose between AMFTP and MFTP to upload or download any files. Then AMIRC can be used for chatting to your mates. Also a TOOLMANAGER bar can be started so that you don't have to keep digging through the directories. Finally a special version of IBROWSE is supplied, which has some functions disabled, for browsing the contents of the disk and some example web pages.

Feeling creative? Then use WEBMAKER to create your own web pages. In conjunction with WebMaker are loads of buttons, rulers, textures, backgrounds, and anims. To finish the disk off, stacks of archived internet related utilities are onboard, just in case you don't like the ones supplied.

Be warned that to use this CD you need an Amiga or a CD32 with Workbench 2.04+, 2 meg RAM, a floppy drive, a modem and an internet account. Obviously a hard drive will make things considerably easier, more RAM is always beneficial, and a better Workbench and faster processor is a good idea. If you have what is required then this is an excellent CD which will get you on-line with the minimum of fuss. Well done Weird Science.

Out-Of-The-Net Volume 1.
Free with In-To-The-Net.

This is supplied free with the "In-To" disk, in order to show you what all the hype is about. No need to have a massive telephone bill and then find that surfing isn't for you. With this disk, you can use the supplied browser to look at several sites which have been taken directly off of the web.

These sites include the very good Leornardo DaVinci site, some of NASAs site, an Anime site, the Natural History Museums site, something about Alcatraz, several good car related pages like an F1 site, BMW, Jaguar, Lotus, etc. and more.
