If you can answer yes to either one of these two questions... a) Do you like music? b) Do you use Octamed?... then this is the CD you have been waiting for. It contains the complete, unrestricted version of Octamed 6 with full AmigaGuide documentation, ready to run straight off the disk. You can also obtain a printed and bound manual / tutorial from Weird Science. And now that the price has come down it works out as a better buy.
If you're wondering if you need to upgrade from version 5 to this one, my advice would be yes. The reason? Well, full Arexx support will be important to some people, support for stereo and 16-bit samples will be important for others, as will be saving with XPK or PowerPacker, while smaller things like screenmode, fonts, snapshot windows and more is nice for everyone.
The full "Walkabout Music" sample library has been included to speed your music making endeavours, all you need is this CD, a bit of inspiration and a lot of patience. If you just want to listen there are over 300 megs of modules from various sources, categorised by music type ready to roll.
