ECTS 6 - 8 September 98

What a show it was this year, bigger than ever. And as usual at the European Computer Trade Show (ECTS) there was nothing Amiga to be seen anywhere, not even a compatible joystick. So as your intrepid reporter had to find something to put on this page I thought you might like to see some pictures of some of the things that did catch my eye. At one time the exhibitors used to give away T-shirts, then they went to celebrities to endorse their products, now they seem to be using some rather nice looking women to help their sales pitch! Well it certainly made the event more exciting for me as some of these pictures testify!!! The new girl who plays 'Lara Croft' was there but she just looked like 'Lara Croft' so there's no use showing you a picture of her, is there? However a few of her friends were there. (1 + 2) Red seemed to predominate the colour the models were wearing, is this the fashion this year, I wonder. A couple of good looking girls in red racing coveralls were on the Sierra stand. (3) The extremely beautiful 'Elexis Sinclair' was advertising the game 'Sin', phone 01895 456705 to hear her speak! (4) One of the 'Carmageddon 2' girls is at (5). Two more girls in red advertising 'Air Racer', a plane game I presume! (6) Picture (7) is a girl advertising 'The Fifth Element' game. And finally some girl dressed up as an alien for some reason or other! (8) 7/9/98
