Anyway, now there is another one. Published by 21st Century Entertainment (do they do anything else?), but made by Liquid Dezign.
As in the usual format for these things, there are four tables depicting various scenarios in the past, present and future.
Multiball is available on all tables, multi-flippers, there are lots of ramps to shoot and traps to put the ball in. It plays very smoothly indeed, has excellent graphics and some very good music to hum along to.
One major feature of all four tables is the score panel which has some great sub-games and animations within it as well as holding the score. The head getting punched in the Demon table is a particular favourite of mine.
To add to all this the speach and spot effects are well sampled and implemented and the music is good.
MEAN MACHINES | |
![]() | Car related gameplay, with engines that overheat, flat tyres, pitstops, changing gear and racing to name a few of the items on offer. This I think is the worst of the four tables, but still fairly good. |
THE PIRATES | |
![]() | Nautical mischief on the high seas is the idea behind this one. Cannonballs, mermaids, walking the plank, crocodiles, sharks and swordplay for ye, me harties (sorry about that!). Not a bad table if your buckle needs swashing. |
ACE OF SPACE | |
![]() | This is full of space type stuff, believe it or not. Stuff like, alien attacks, space stations, death planets, light sabres, etc. This comes second in my opinion. |
NIGHT OF THE DEMON | |
![]() | The best table on offer, and the only one with two flippers. Spirits, vampires, the bat butcher, grave robbing, zombies, witchcraft are all there for you to enjoy. Definately the best table I`ve seen in any pinball game. |
So do you need another pinball game? Well I can only say this is the pinball game to end all (current) pinball games. Excellent is just one way to describe it!
Go get it while you`ve got the chance.
