At easy distance from the Town,
An hospitable Seat
From Crowd and Noise there stands retired,
A sweet and cool Retreat

A natural learning experience

TreesRocks East Woodland covers 100 acres of historic woodlands, overlooking St. Catherine's Valley in the Cotswold Area of outstanding natural beauty.

The woodlands consist of a mixture of broadleaved and coniferous trees, and are sympathetically managed in a manner that conserves the native wildlife and its habitat. They provide homes for deer, badgers, a variety of birdlife and many interesting plants.

Tree and WallAn area has been dedicated to camping and caravanning. This pleasant site in unspoilt countryside is an ideal venue for visiting the Georgian City of Bath.

In the woodland, waymarked paths, together with information leaflets, guide the public along various walks (if required guided tours can be arranged). Within the woods you will discover a magical woodland garden, which features a walled pond, grotto and cave, with the spectacular 'Valley of the Rocks', and a series of walkways and steps.
