The Dursley Arms is a friendly and lively local pub offering clientele a wide range of activities to enjoy (Including pool, darts, regular live entertainment and discos, quiz nights, Meat Raffles the list goes on) and teams to either join or support (pool, darts, crib, and quiz teams).
On the other hand if you are looking to go out for a quiet drink in a nice relaxed atmosphere, sit around an open fire then the Dursley will be just what you are looking for (not so quiet when the live bands are playing but at most other times). Basically the Dursley Arms is a real local pub that appeals to a very wide range of customers. The Dursley Arms has a single pool table located in a separate pool room. The table itself is well maintained and sees a lot of use daily use. The table is usually 50p a game with Tuesdays seeing the table free all day. Monday evening is league night with the Dursley being host to two pool teams playing in the Trowbridge and District League.

There are two darts boards in the Dursley Arms. One is in the main bar and the second is to be found in the pool room. The only restriction is on the pool room board when a league match is in progress. Three darts teams are based from the Dursley, two being Ladies Teams (Thursday League) and one gents (Tuesday League).

Crib is played at the Dursley with a team representing the pub in the local crib league. Boards are available at the bar if required most evenings.

A charity quiz night is also held every other month at the Dursley (on a Wednesday), this is run as a team event offering a wide selection of questions and a really enjoyable evenings entertainment. There is a small entrance fee as well as a pot. Winners get to hold the trophy until the next quiz. A weekly quiz is also run every Sunday Lunchtime - this has a winner takes all prize fund.

A Meat Raffle is held weekly, on Sunday Lunchtime, with prizes totalling £75 in value with the first prize being a Beef Joint worth approximately £18. Tickets are a £1 a strip and you will need to be in the Dursley at 2:45pm to claim any prizes.

There is a payphone that you can use at the bar. It is a strange communications device where everyone is connected by a set of numbers.

The Dursley has a small car park that caters for about ten cars. This is supplemented by the local street parking.
